Signature Capture and Member Identification functions within FSP
HFS ULTRADATA has expanded
its support for signature devices used to identify members and to capture
signatures within FSP. Support is available now for the following features for
the indicated devices under a thin client (Citrix, Microsoft Terminal services)
and fat client environments.

Signature Capture- capture
member’s signature on transaction vouchers and ALPS and Front office forms.

Member Identification with
Card Swipe- allows a member to identify himself or herself to FSP operator
with their Debit card and Internet Banking or Telephone banking PIN.

Member Identification without
Card Swipe- allows a member to identify himself or herself to FSP operator
with Member Number and Internet Banking or Telephone banking PIN.
Thin/Fat Client Environments

Thin client- Installed FSP on
a Citrix or Microsoft Terminal server.

REQUIREMENTS

If
you are using Microsoft Terminal Services, then you must be on Windows 2003
or
later.

For HHP8500, the device must
be on firmware version 2.21 [31205125-070 (dated December 10, 2004)] or later.

For all Topaz models, the
device must be manufactured in the year 2005 or later for FSP to recognize the
model of the device automatically.
Customers who wish to use
this enhanced functionality must be on at least Release 18.10 or later.
